Could you be our next Content & Social Media Specialist?

  • Oh, hey! We’re a content-obsessed boutique marketing agency based in Perth, WA.

    We’re looking for a strategic + creative Content & Social Media Specialist to join us on a contract basis, working alongside Tash, our Founder & CMO (and resident Content Strategist) to bring amazing content to life for our clients marketing channels.

    This is an exciting, fast-paced & incredibly flexible role with the opportunity to stretch your creative muscles, whilst simultaneously harnessing data to drive results that feel like magic for our clients.

    This role is fully remote (live that WFH dream) you’ll have agency over which days you work. Our ideal candidate will be self-lead with incredible time management skills. You’ll need to be Perth-based to assist with on-site client content visits, team training and the occasional working lunch!

    • An ABN is essential for this role

    • 30 hours/week is available immediately, with regular opportunities to increase these hours on a project basis, if desired

    • $35-$45/hr (+GST, if applicable) based on experience + superannuation

    • 12-month contract with outlook to extend ongoing

    • Every day is a little different, but you can expect to be working on:

    • Creating content for B2B, B2C, retail, property, education, hospitality AND service-based businesses on a weekly basis. We are lucky to work with some of Perth’s best retail brands + shopping centres, combined with an eclectic mix of beautiful smaller local businesses - you’ll never be bored!

    • Transforming raw material (video, photography assets) from our various client Content Libraries into captivating reels & posts

    • Copywriting & digital design for social media, websites and email marketing content

    • Scheduling social media posts, reels & stories according to a weekly & fortnightly schedule & approval flow

    • Managing client social media accounts to ensure content (pinned posts, story highlights, links) is always up-to-date & relevant

    • Monitoring client digital dashboards & assisting with monthly performance reports

    • Content planning & task tracking via Notion

    • Assisting with other tasks as needed, such as social media marketing for NW Creative Studio, ongoing client content visits, assistance with strategy development, contribution to SEO & paid ads campaigns, client support/training and developing SOPs for our processes

  • When it comes down to it, we’re looking for someone who is as obsessed with Content Marketing as we are!

    We work tirelessly to inspire our clients & online communities to take marketing, brand experience and content as seriously as they take making sales – because in this climate? It’s never been more essential.

    Our dream candidate will possess the following skills & experience:

    • 3+ years experience in content creation or social media marketing, either agency or brand-side

    • Extensive experience managing social media accounts across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest and LinkedIn

    • Photography & mobile videography skills – planning, capturing & editing

    • Experience using various marketing & project management tools - bonus points for exposure to our ride or die platforms: Planable, Dash Hudson, AgencyAnalytics, MailChimp, Active Campaign, FloDesk & Notion

    • A keen eye for details and a creative flair

    • Adequate graphic design experience – we love Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite

    • Stakeholder and/or client management experience

    • Knowledge of SEM, SEO, paid ads, organic social & email marketing principles

    • The ability to take action, use initiative and handle multiple projects at one time

    • Access to a vehicle - you’ll be paid to travel all over Perth to capture content for our clients

    • A commitment to continuous improvement & life-long learning - digital marketing changes so frequently, we're looking for someone who's keen to keep up with us!

    • Multi-channel digital marketing experience (email, web, social ads, analytics)

    • Copywriting skills – you can craft stories through your content with words and visuals

    • Specific experience within retail or hospitality categories

    • An interest in data & marketing measurement
